Cold room design is a highly specialized area which involves varied programming techniques and operating functionalities. Designing a cold or freezer room also involves using various types of materials, products and equipment, each with its unique installation, fabrication and construction guidelines.
Cold rooms are designed for various purposes, therefore each cold room’s design is planned and evaluated meticulously to ensure the correct programming, function and service facilities for the desired purpose. Starting at the basis of cold room design we need to look at the programming of the cold room, freezer room, walk-in cold room, walk-in freezer room and environmental room.
Cold rooms are available in a vast range of different sizes and functionalities. They are designed to work in tropical temperatures (+43ºC). The range consists of coolers (-2/+2ºC) with panels 60 mm in thickness, freezer cold rooms (-18/-20°C) with panels 100 mm in thickness and with built-in or remote refrigerating unit.
The five models detailed on this sheet are cooler cold rooms with a usable volume of 3,1 to 6,1 cubic meters. Models come with panels and gas pre-charged cooling unit.
Walk-in coolers and freezers are used all around is, from supermarkets, restaurants, hotels amongst many other places. Each of these cold rooms are meticulously designed to meet specifications and criteria suitable for the product being stored.
